Our Story
Founded in 1971, CEAR traces its roots back to the tradition of the historic “Pellizzari” company. When Pellizzari ceased its activity, many of its technicians decided to carry on its legacy. CEAR was born in this context, leveraging the managerial and technical experience of professionals from “Pellizzari.” Since then, the company continues to adhere to the excellent “rule of art” that made businesses in the Arzignano area, in the province of Vicenza, famous.
The Evolution of Our Products
Until 1980, CEAR produced motors with a round steel frame and cast-iron shields, identified by the codes MCE–MCF, with power ratings from 3 kW to 200 kW.
Subsequently, the current square-frame motors, designated MGL, were introduced. These have power ratings from 1 kW to 2300 kW (at 1000 rpm) and weights varying from 40 kg up to 10,000 kg.
Today, CEAR motors are installed worldwide and chosen by companies across the most varied production sectors.
Applications
CEAR motors are used by companies in various sectors. They are employed in all processes related to plastic and rubber processing. In the metallurgy sector, applications include sheet and wire rod rolling, drawing, cutting, and numerous processes necessary for the distribution of metal products. Other sectors of use include the paper industry, the biomedical sector, and glass tempering systems. In addition to the standard square-frame motors in the catalog, CEAR creates customized solutions for highly diversified uses, such as traction motors, shipboard generators, submersible boat motors, and many other special applications.
